Where to start? Well it all started about 2 years age when my wife and I laid down roughly 1500 to get two iphones. Why? Because as I'm sure you have heard it before, "The iphone was the greatest cell phone the world had ever seen". Now fast forward one year after that great day and we have the introduction of the iphone 3g. But this Iphone was hurt by a lot of bugs which on top of this was coupled with at&t raising their plans. This led to me and my wife on a wild hunt to find a phone just as good as the iphone or better. We went through the instinct, the blackberry curves, the Dare, and finally the Blackberry storm. Of them all the storm was the closest to the iphone and it added features that the iphone didn't have. However all this really didn't amount to nothing I shortly found out. The magic that apple does is unbeatable. The sooner all these new reporters and haters accept this the quicker we can move forward. Yes there might be better packages ( phone with cell provider advantage) but as I have always said as far as comparing the sure USE and functions of a IPhone to any other device(phones vs phone itself) your wasting your time. Iphone wins. And win it has done again with me and my wife. After learning of the 3g drop issues being taken care off and mobile me working like it should include other buggies that I don't feel like mentioning were taken care off the iphone 3g started to look again like the phone we hoped it would be when it came out. However it was still a issue of how much they wanted on the plans and less minutes. Well this year has bought great news. My company I work for now gets a discount for AT&t and with this I get the same plan hours I had with Verizon. But this isn't the best part. Coming over to the iphone also means that my bill with At&t will save me almost $2000 in the next 2 years. WOW! Now I don't care who you are but this is a lot of money to save by punishing me with a iphone over a storm :)....NOT!!!! It was a no brainer, money talks and bulls%&# walks. So now after getting everything done my wife finally confess what I had been thinking myself. That all these phones we have had and all this phones that are coming out are trying to one thing and one thing only...Be like the iphone and as proving time and time again even with the ipod when you try to be like them they beat you every time. This really is the case with soon to be Palm phone. It will get talked about for a couple of months hot and heavy just like the instinct (where is it now?), just like the dare( where is it now,), just like the g1 phone( google doesn't even talk about the g1 phone anymore they have moved on to talking about g2's), just like the curve, etc , etc. Until something takes a road by themselves and comes up with something truly new and innovative they all are just standing in the shadow of iphone.
