BEATS!!!!

Well people they have hit and been out for a while but I'm just getting them. Now before you ask, no I didn't get the big cans. I personally can't stand over the ear headphones. I have to have in ear headphone. I hate the bulk of big over the ear headsets(plus the fact that they require batteries) plus its harder to listen to them at work without everyone knowing. But even though I didn't get the big ones I heard them in best buy and based on what I heard from them and now owning the in ear headphones you won't be disappointed with either one of them I promise. The base hit with the force of an atomic blast but not so much that it kills the other mids and highs of songs. The sound stage is good too if anyone wants to know. The comfort was surprising to me because they actually fit me better than my Ultimate ears 5pro's which at one time were almost $400. I can wear this much longer than i could with the Ultimate ears. The only thing that I would change is the overall volume sensitivity, but these earphones were almost $200 less than the the Ultimate ears. Now keep in mind that my comfort level and yours aren't the same. Somebody might put these in their ears and never get a good seal so please keep that in mind because no ear is the same. Now I know these are geared toward hip hop junkies but the earphones can play anything very well, but yes it sounds better when you pumping R&B, house, Rap, jazz, and pop. If you need a Classical sounding headphone these aren't the BEST pick for you. But if not and you find yourself in the first category then you can't go wrong especially with the price they are asking for ( $150 for the Beats Tours (in ears set) and $299 for the over the ear set). Both sets are even highly crafted with a upper class package feel. These things really were put together very well and make you feel like the money was well spent even all the way down to the type of paper the box is made of. So I guess the real question is do they beat the Ultimate ears 5 pro's right? Yes and no. Yes they(Beats) beat them in the overall worth of the package they deliver at the price they give you. Yes they down right blow anything that I have personally heard out the water as far as quality of bass. They even made me feel that my pro's( which I thought had some of the best bass representation out there) had broken or stop making bass after trying them back on after listening to the "Beats" for 15 minutes. I mean the difference was so strong that my ears could no longer pick up the bass in the Pro's. But then the pro's had higher overall sound volume. I never had to place any mp3 player halfway(as far as the volume) to be blowed away by the volume with the Pro's but with the "Beats" it took me just a little bit pass the halfway mark in the volume to get the same volume under halfway with the Pro's. And then the Pro's can be used for anything including classical and get the same performance equally across the board unlike the Beats which show out for the R&b, house, rap, and pop, but come up a little short for the SAME wow effect when listening to stuff like classical. So I say it just depends on what you need the headphones for and how much are you willing to pay for the differences if you really need them. So I hope this helped everyone. 4.85 Stars out of 5 I give it. Way to go Monster Beats by Dr DRE!!!!!!! Now excuse me while I listen to my music please :)

***Quick follow up and update info****

I've let these headphone burn in( if they needed them I really don't know) a little and they seem to get better with hours. At this time now I feel they are the best earphones (for me) that I have had overall. Thus moving them to the front of all my music listening from this point forth. One huge thing to point out to all you earphone followers is that the TOURS aren't said to be single drivers or double or even triple. That said I believe they are single driver earphones ( I might be wrong). But the most important thing is that if I'm right then all the talk about single drives being weaker than double and then triples are all talk. Much like Mega pixels talk for a camera. This is something to think about before you get caught up in numbers of drivers for your next earphone purchase. Because as it stands, based on the number of drives I think the Beat Tours have it's not how many drivers you have but how you use them.
