The dark horse!!

   The dark shadow that awaits Sony could be the psp go. You heard me correctly folks. The dark shadow! I say this because of two things really. One is the poor strategy Sony has put into this ps3 slim and mark down of price. Yes, I have said it. This should have been announced at e3. It makes no sense whatsoever to wait 2 months to do this now. They gain nothing by waiting two months for this announcement. They could have road this new system much better and created much more hype by doing this at e3 to make up for all the other stuff that leaked out and to help put eyes back on ps3 after the butt spanking Natal gave them. That also would have helped the stocks because everyone knows that is the time to wow the investers and start and frenzy.  The second ties into their stupid price cut figures. It make no sense to offer $299 for the new system at 120gb as well as the old system at 80gb for the same price. The average person will by the ps3 slim so where does that leave your stock of the old ones. I'll tell you, shipped back off to sony to deal with as yet another lose. And if that isn't bad enough they bring in this dark horse" the psp go" at the $249?? Uum so for just $50 more you can have a bluray 120gb ps3. Or you can look at it in reverse and say why in the world will I spend $249 on a portable unit with worse graphics and zero bluray player. So sony this price cut has basically made this psp go look very over priced now being that you can get a 120gb system with bluray for just 50 bucks more. Its just not good business. The psp should be at least $100 cheaper than the 120gb slim. And the 80gb should be at least $50 cheaper than the slim. And at the end of the day they still face the very real possibility that xbox still might make yet another price cut in Oct or Nov on top of the one they just announced today. So what room do you leave yourself this early into the stretch going into Christmas? Not much if any. It really looks like Sony didn't even think this stuff through and just threw something out hoping to play it by ear. Get it together Sony you have a lot of fans pulling for you.
