Xbox vs Ps3

"Content is king". I have heard it and you have heard it before. To my surprise the company I hear it from the most doesn't deliver on it. That company being Sony. They even quoted this quote for the last 3 e3 running up til this year's e3. For a while I believed sony but year after year of promises that fall by the waste side and then flat out lies(ae: Killzone 2 movie they showed at e3 swearing that it was not movie or cg)started to drain the life out of me. And Then out of the blue the xbox hit with all this innovations. From Natal, milo, and even to the social side of things like facebook and last fm. Then finally to the movie side of things with Netflix's instant "q" up libray increased and zune hd instant yet to be released for this year. It's no wonder why I'm sporting both systems in my house, especially with the jasper system's killing down that high red ring of death returns. But should I have had to buy two systems? I say not. If only my dear Sony would actually do their jobs and got these promised games into the hands of the gamers as they said they would for the last 2 years going into the 3rd year running. Where is God of War, where is grand turismo, where is Massive online game, where is final fantasy, where is Heavy Rain, and where is Marvel online? What good is coming out with a Slim or New Ps3 (which doesn't look good to me, I like the design now much more than the new ones coming). It's the same system with all this promise and nothing to deliver on. But don't get me wrong there will be a sucker out there that will buy again the same system even though he already has one and swear by it because it has a new case. I'm sorry but that's just the truth, and anybody that is truly looking at the facts knows it! Sony is getting their butt handed to them month after month and dropping the price now just sealed the deal for them to have their butt handed to them yet again this Christmas. Mark my words, all the xbox is going to do is wait til the peak season going into Christmas and drop their price. Sony pulled the trigger too early at this point of the year, they should have done this earlier in the year to leave room for another. Xbox might even do a price drop twice before the year is out and steal all this hype and spot light sony is hoping to ride on yet again. And the reason is simple. Xbox is making money off their system and can afford it, sony can't, it's just sure numbers and you can't fight about numbers. Sony better find ways of creating innovation instead of created clouds that mask the truth.

***And anyone who knows me knows that I like the ps3 system itself more than the xbox so this is not a fan boy blog entry.***
