There are many reason people have phones. Phones like blackberries , android , Nokia and iPhone. They all have some advantage or another. Some of those advantages come from what the phone does by itself and some come from what other people give the phone such as apps and exposure. One such phone like the iPhone has benefited greatly from its exposure. Such exposure ( the show V is full of iPhones) has landed them the first run into the new software app by universal. Its a blu-ray link app. It's job will be to link your phone up to the blu-ray menu for universal movies that are to be released soon. The new batch of movies will allow the iPhone to control the menu system and special bd-live functions on the movie right from your Iphone. This content will either be downloaded to your phone to be controlled or viewed from it or will be streamed to the phone through your WiFi. This is yet another great advancement for technology. And one that I'm sure will keep the iPhone fans happy. No word yet rather this is exclusive to the iPhone or not. So before you go out rubbing it in the faces of your buddies who don't have a iPhone you might want to hold off until confirmation is given. And as cool as it seems, the software may not be that "got to have thing" being that you may not want to waste time downloading or streaming when you already have a remote ready to open that very thing you're waiting on but can do it a lot faster and be watching the movie while your buddy is still waiting on the download or streaming. However, at least you got another cool app to look at and say I can do this if I want( even though you might not want to wait to do it). But we will just have to wait and see how well it works though. Maybe it will be fast enough not have to worry about that. Who knows, right?
