Book have been for many many years as nothing more than printed text on paper. It's been that way for so long for a reason. The meat.
The value of any book is the content; The words on the page and the reader's imagination. Existing ebook readers (nook/kindle for example)
that use e-ink do two things: provides users with a modern, efficient way to handle books and it gets out of your way. By that I mean it's not
trying to be more than what it is. An all-in book doesn't make sense.
How ridiculous would it be to read a paper book that had a screen on the front to get on the web, email, camera, mp3 player on it.
We'd ask why is this book trying to be more than what it is. It's a book. Let it be a book!
I've tried to read books on laptops and my iphone. It's just not the same.
I think ebook readers are one case when it's more than okay to do one thing well.
But that's my opinion. Any comments or thoughts?
