"4g"name in question

   Maybe I had to much to drink(hot co-co) last night and am still a little off the wall but what if there is no 4g iPhone? Now hear me out here. I'm not talking about if there will be another iPhone in June.  That we know more than anything else. But who said it would be named the iPhone 4g? And better yet who said it would 4g period? Just a little while ago when the iPhone first came out , 3g was talk even then like 4g is now.  And apple stayed with edge over 3g because there were little coverage areas that gave it. And of course battery life was going to be effected they said. Well aren't we facing the same story now? Did apple ever go on record to say that the new iPhone will be 4g? No they didn't. Its us that have prematurely given that title to the next iPhone. Now I'm not saying that it won't happen but it was shocking to me when I realized that apple never promised a 4g iPhone to us but yet that's what we are claiming.  And a major flaw that people forget is that the carriers it might come out on don't even have 4g ready. And that backs up the doubt even further. If it doesn't come out a lot of people will be mad and have no one to blame but themselves . But if you think about it you shouldn't be mad because I'd rather see options in a phone that can be used by the majority than by the minority.  The new 4g evolution has a similar story  with its front facing camera that has zero support out there for it but yet they waste time and money putting it on the phone. I'm sure the price would have been better for that phone if it didn't have that useless hardware( I know it seems cool to have, but without use it's just there) on it. Now I would be the last person to tell you that I have a crystal ball but this is just food for thought. Lets hope for technology sake and competition that apple and the carrier or carriers that it comes out on finds a way to piece this together.
