Bryan Singer did a great Job and Should be given a Sequel Shot!!

Ok, I could not help but sound off on this subject of this movie's status and fate, Superman Return sequel. First off I would like to say I am a big fan. Anyone and everyone that knows me knows that Superman is the subject of pure enjoyment for me. I love the story and mythology around the character. In fact the most memorable moment I shared with my wife (with exception to the wedding and my son being born) took place when she took me to go see Superman Returns before it hit the theaters at a sneak peak showing. She even blind folded me going there and I didn't even know what were seeing until the words hit the screen and my heart jumped out of my chest and tears of joy filled my eyes when the song started up, finally completing the dream into reality. The movie I waited almost 20 yrs to see was in front of me! And for me the whole movie was a pure delight. So much a delight that I went and saw it 3 additional times. And one of those 3 times was with my whole family( mom, dad, brother and sister, etc) and it was the only super-hero movie that my dad and mom actually would have seen and did enjoy themselves very much. I was so shocked when my mom and dad confirmed what I already knew, that the movie was a pure enjoyment. A action, emotional, and historically honoring movie. The cast was perfect. Spacey playing lex luther was masterful and Routh now is Superman and there is not other person I can ever see playing superman. And as far as story lines, bringing his son into play(because this is what happens when two people sleep together without protection) and having his dad's lexacey set in front of him in the hospital was Singer at his best directing and bring the fact that he is not hurt by Kryptonite left the door open for a whole other genesis of super-heroes that could have easily paved the way for the future. All of this done without the need for One nipple exposure nor one curse word. Then to turn around and make over 550 million proves to me that this was a success. But Somehow the people out there that didn't can't see any of these things. And as far as DC comics goes making 550 million isn't enough for them to allow Bryan singer to show what he can do with a 2nd movie before pulling the plug on the sequel. Which make no sense whatsoever. I am so sick of hearing people try and down this movie and say it wasn't a success because she should have done more. I wish my failure could be defined by me making 550 million for 1 movie. Especially when movies like Matrix 1, Lord of the rings:fellowship of the ring, Spiderman 1, Transformers , Blade 1, Iron man, and Batman Begins all never made anything close to that kind of money but yet sequels were given to them. And with Singer's record with Xmen 1-2 success (part 2 being the most action packed and solid sequel to ride on his foundation on the 1st movie) you would think you could trust him to do the same with Superman. All of this equals to one thing to me and that is Stupidness on the part of Dc comics and Warner Brothers. In fact if reports are correct they are bringing back Spacey and Routh both to continue their roles. So let me get this right, the Same director's vision that picked these people for the role you trust enough to stay with that part but you can't trust him enough to finish what he started in the 1st movie? Thats just dumb!!And all of this just so you can have a darker Superman?? Superman isn't a dark character, his not like Batman. Hints the colors of Superman outfit (bright colors)vs Batman's( dark colors). This color ID's them to their nature or emotions just like the creator of the character intended them to be. But hey what do I know. I'm just a fan right?
