Well I know this update won't be favorable to most people out there that are either Ipod fans or just ignorant buyers of mp3 players that still think a mp3 player is a ipod. But I'll try and make this as quick and as painless as I can. News flash the zune isn't dead! After microsoft listed their losses of the zune hardware sales everybody thought this was the end of the zune but according to microsoft they are very dedicated to the zune and even are producing more zune hardware this year. This news is very exciting to those of us that really enjoy the zune line up and with this add on of the updated software(version 3.0) and the new zune pass adjustment we have one exciting product and software combo people. I can tell you that the zune is better than the ipod classics (not the ipod touch)units. In terms of sure sexiness, use, and quality of sound and sure joys and smartness of the software 3.0 interaction with the zune, its starting to look very bad for Apple to just sit there and not continue to bring anything of worth to the ipod classics. Now if anything, it looks like apple the one that might be killing their line up of classics in favor of the ipod touch. But even if they do I really think apple should at least do a version of what Microsoft is doing with their online software sync, giving people choice of buy or sign up for subscriptions. Cause I'm telling you giving up 15 bucks a month for unlimited downloads with 10 songs a month to keep just in case you quit, isn't bad at all and in fact is love if you ask me. If you interested in see some of cnets own thoughts about the zune vs ipod classics, go to= http://reviews.cnet.com/zune-vs-ipod/. They gave it to the zune too. I really think people should look at the zune more because there isn't a reason not to grow and become better and choosing to setting on your butt with a product and microsoft seems to be avoiding this trap thus far. Congrads!
