"NO BONES ABOUT IT"!***And TECH AWARD***

How to write, how to say, or how to express my thoughts is a little hard without under appreciating it. Ok lets just start from the beginning or should I say the first start of an attempt to replace a phone called Iphone(2g). My wife and I first attempt at this began with the phone called Instinct. This phone was so overly hyped that me nor her could escape it's pull as of others out there that ran out and bought the phone at $130 miracle price. The phone was a great buy at that price and all the commercials really help sell the phone to would be iphone owners or leavers. I mean come on 3g speeds that beat the iphone(2g), gps turn by turn, with a video camera and links to facebook not yet seen on other phones. But then once you got the phone the real phone showed up with its huge crashes, lock ups, email conflicts that keep resulting in locked out accounts, battery life issues, and the reality that web page rendering took priority over the company's bragged on download speeds when it came to simply pulling up a simple web page. And lastly was a UNKNOWN issue that I could not put my figure on yet at that time.

2nd up to the plate was the dare. A different carrier was a fresh response to what we hoped would result to better web page rendering( because downloads speeds are useless unless you have a processor that can render that information fast also). As a result we got better rendering at times but not nothing like what you would think you would get from a 3g phone. However unlike the instinct the battery life was so much better which was a welcome thing. And the dare had a great picture pixel and form factor. But after a few weeks with it I could see where the problem would come and they were with the typing on the touch screen it had. It was a nightmare. So after that showed the mystery UNKNOWN issue showed up again. This time I set down to figure out what it was that both the instinct and dare had or didn't have that kept sticking me in the side like a thorn. And then it came to me. THEY ARE BOTH NOT REAL SMARTPHONES! Thats why you have mobile email not real email, no spell checks, no guessed word for spelling, etc.

3rd phone up was just outdated at the time and had no real issue with it. The blackberry curve. The curve was a breath of fresh air after dealing with the Instinct and dare. These phone however was only hendered by the web layout, none touch screen and scroll ball that took forever to use to scroll the pages up and down. But it was a smartphone and we knew that whatever road we took had to lead to smartphones only.

4th up was the Blackberry storm! An amazing phone if you ask me even with it's hang ups. The blackberry storm is probably blackberry's best attempt in changing with this whole cell phone touch domination. The phone had things that even the newly release iphone 3g didn't have. However just like all the others that followed the iphone 2g and 3g they tried beat the iphone at its own game and you can't do that. And in doing this they hurt themselves in all those areas. The touch screen didn't work anywhere like the iphone's did. The web rendering was good but once again wasn't as fast as the iphones even though both were on 3g. And for me in memphis we get way better signal strength with the AT&T than with Verizon phones. And all this wasn't really enough for me and my wife to turn away from the Blackberry storm, hence making it the best competition for the iphone than any other phone out at this time. But yet again, as with the other phoness, a defect had to show that killed it for us. Can someone say MEMORY LEAK! We waited and waited for the storm to put out a update that fixed this but they never did. The phone due to the memory leak would somehow loose memory for no reason at all( and yes I knew how to close out apps instead of just going back to the home screen and leaving it running). It didn't matter how many times you pulled the battery and did memory cleans and quick pulls over the course of 2 days or so if you ever use the phone for internet and other activities it would pull your memory down to the point of crashing the phone. We got sick of worrying where our memory was during the course of the day just to make sure the phone ran the way it was suppose to. Nobody should have to do this for their phone.

So now we are back to apple and the iphone but this time with the 3g and it's amazing. I feel like I was married to jesse jane and left her to date opera, hillary clinton, and queen latifia because they where on TV more only to return to a very happy and excited Jesse jane and my eyes open to a understanding that there is nothing better than this and no matter what others do they all just want to be the iphone and all fall short(some more than others). So now with the announcement of the 3.0 software that is given the iphone over 100 new features like copy and paste, MMS, spotlight, and others apple has gone in and closed the door on anymore nit picky excuses people have had on the iphone. So now it just boils down to the haters of apple and whatever they can come up with to make themselves feel better about not having a iphone for any negative press about the GREATEST PHONE ever created. And if you can't see that then your blind.
