My Thinkpad laptop!!!!!

My, my how things have change from the years past. Gone is all my anger and hate towards a company called Microsoft. Gone are my issues with virus things and the like( at least for now). Gone is the horrible o/s system called vista. Gone is my love for apple products especially the computers themselves. But what we have now replaces are those things. My thinkpad by Lenova with the new windows 7. Now before I get those looks from everyone let me explain why and when this all happen. First things first, we have to start with my apple computer which as of 1 year ago refused to allow me the install of any newer products because I had to have the latest o/s system. And I couldn't install that unless I added more memory. And even when I installed all that I would still have to deal with the fact that the computer still wasn't as fast and took forever to do what I needed such as photo shoping with my pictures. This also lead to my blackberry not being able to be compatible with it. My ps3 note being able to talk to it as far as cracks and downloads needed for certain games or stored items because they were on two different style ( ae: fat 32 vs ). It really showed and proved to me that you have to at one point or another have a windows computer somewhere if you expect to get anything done. So when I started to look for computers for some reason I could not get out of my head that I wanted a thinkpad for someone reason. So I started to find out all the wonderful things people always stated about them. How they loved theirs and how reliable it was. So low and behold I remember my tech friend had one so I called about it and he also confirmed that he was extremely happy with his and wouldn't consider getting other kind of computer. So that was enough for me when I heard that from him. So I went hunting them down online because he told me that lenova was having a great sales that was ending the next day. So I found the one I was welling to pay for and then the next day (thank God I did) went to best buy to see if I could get some one on one time with it. To my great surprise Bestbuy gave more and charged less. The gave me a 500 gb with 4gb memory, built in web camera, dvd burner, windows 7, spill resistant keyboard, shock protection, and 2.1 duo processor for 649. Now on line for the same laptop with the same things bestbuy was given me was going to cost 300 bucks more roughly. So that was a now no-branier. I got it right then and there.

Once I got it home I was dreading the whole"delete all these tones of programs" that I didn't need, and installing a crap load of drivers just to make it work. Well, I'm so very proud to say I had to do none of those things. This computer just asked for my password for the router and did everything by itself. I did over 65 items of updates in the background while I surfed the Internet without slow down. It also has a free virus protection software called windows security essentials. Not to mention the firewalls and the anti spy ware for the laptop that just did it's job. Before I knew it I had a completely updated laptop all without typical sweat job I got in the pass. This thinkpad is amazing and it works great. Fast, great graphics, protection(free), great price, and reliable, are the real things that stand out and most for me. The most important is the space, speed, and finally having a virus scan anti spy software that I don't have to buy every year. I honestly don't see getting a better value for my money. Or as I stated to Jason today; I wouldn't even trade my thinkpad for any other none thinkpad laptop, not even for a mac laptop.

Bottom line: Windows so far has provided me with a very great product software. Regardless of their pass they seem now to have gotten the best handle on the software than they ever did with previous ones. I love the fact that it just knows what is needed and does it. This is the best feature about 7 and my story about how I chose to get a Pc over a Mac. It really feels so good to be back. Keep up the good work microsoft and lenova.
