Bigger is better by Jason

I am well aware of the crow I'm going to have to eat now regarding
this but Saturday morning along with my fellow geeks, I bought the
iPad. And it was a great investment for me. I specify for me because I
will say that right now. It is not for everyone.

So isn't just a big iPod touch or iPhone?

This is the question I hear and expect to the the main question I'll
have to answer. Is it a big ipod touch? In a way, yes. But just
imagine it for a second. Imagine the possibilities of what you love
about the iPhone on a bigger screen. It's amazing. It gives you more
room to navigate. To actually type a document with the keys there like
an actual keyboard. I notice already that I'm typing much faster. Just
like a would if I were in front of a pc.

Will it replace your laptop?

It depends on the situation. I have a laptop that I use often. If I'm
going to be out and about and need to do some like browsing or some
writing that is going to be fairly involved, I'm not going to bring my
laptop, I'm going to bring my iPad. Sure, I probably could type on my
iPhone but anyone who's honestly tried to type or read something on
the iPhone screen will realize the benefit from this larger screen.
Watching a movie on a larger screen is just better when comparing it
to the iPhone. Ebooks are fun on the iPad. Regardless of how you feel
about the device, it will work for some and not work for others. For
me, it is my in between device. It handles My tasks that are too big
for the iPhone yet not so involved that I need a full computer to
handle.
