IPhone 4.0 seems like iPhone catch up

    Before I ended up writing this article I found myself question my thoughts an wondering if it was just me not being a fanboy. So I went to the true source of fanboys, Jason. I asked him what he thought about the update. To my surprise he didn't have anything different to say than I did. When you look at the things apple has done with 4.0 it seems like they are just playing catch-up, much like they did with 3.0. I didn't see anything different that all the other top smartphones were doing and have been doing for years. And the way they are going about it seems as though they are complicating their software which is one thing they prided themselves on. Its one of the main reasons they have sold the way they have. People find it easy pick up and play software. This update complicates things and I can see people pulling away if they aren't tech headed. That, or just staying with their old iPhone. But at the same time I don't see that they had a choice, to be fair. The way things are going with android basically showing them up on a multiple amount of areas, they had to do something more than pointing fingers about porn . And lets just face the facts hear. We all know that this update would not be what it is if it wasn't for android's pressure on apple. Apple wants to remove as much difference between them and Google as possible without putting on the android OS on their phone .  The problem with this is that people don't feel wowed by this. And apple has gotten all their numbers based on the wow factor or the appearance of wow. Now without that, where does that take them? I frankly don't know if apple has anything left but mods off the same thing over and over again. And you can do this if your blackberry (overall leader in smartphones) but not if your apple with android breathing down your neck. We have seen apple's interface icon base system for the last 4 years. Its time to change it up people. Why not add widgets( you had Widgets before smartphones knew what they were) and snow leopard(real desktop like) to your phone. Do something radical, defy the predictable road most travel on. Shock the world don't just play Catch-up. Because as I stand here typing on this Droid, doing amazing things with it and looking at its beautiful graphics and smart design I don't see anyone being exposed to this android ,and or this phone ,ever missing their iPhone, at least not in it present state with its future update in mind.
