Cell power problems?

As if I need more issues with my choice than I had before. Today I confirmed what I feared the most. Signal strength for my incredible is worse than the moto Droid. And we are talking about a good 2 bars at least on average. I went to Verizon and place my phone next to the floor unit moto droid. And while the Droid had all bars blazing the incredible as 2-3 depending on what it felt like showing.  This is not I wanted to see. But yet should have expected this. All these top reporters reviewing the phone and all of them singing praise over and over about how good the incredible was. And its funny that none took the time to test what matters. Why didn't anyone tell me about this.  I wouldn't have given up my moto droid for these issues. Maybe they will be taking care of soon but for right now it sucks. Another thing that sucks is how to me the keyboard or the screen size doesn't go over well with me and typing. I typed much better on the moto droid virtual keyboard than on this. I tried the calibration and all but its not that. I just think its the placement of the keys with a smaller width that is hurting me. I even downloaded another keyboard by better keyboard and they didnt work at all and then went to download a different app for keyboards called smart keyboard. It allowed predicted words window that my sense keyboard didn't have for some reason. Also the optical track sensor doesn't work well enough to replace a trackball in my opinion.  As far as battery life I ordered a 1700mah battery for it since that was the only thing reviewers warned me about. So that is something I don't have to worry about anymore. But even though it was known, this was not as bad as I had feared. It was lease than the droid of course but it wasn't unworkable. So that was pleasing for me. And the biggest surprise I got was that a car docking station was released unlike most reports that stated that there wasn't going to be any anytime soon. I was glad to get this back. It was one of the most hated concession I made next to the battery life (that I knew at that time). So with negative came positive. So that, plus the speed of this phone and my battery coming and my docking station replaced I now can move forward more confident. Everyone loves this phone and I hope to end up one of them but its just taking a little longer getting use to the way this operates and some of the absent things I had with my droid originally.  More soon.

The Incredible Droid!
